Rolleiflex rolleimeter instructions for use manualROLLElMETER Purpose: An optical coupled range tinder tor use with the direct view tinder ot the Rolleitlex; particularly suitable when shooting sports or flash pictures in poor iight. Description: The Rolleimeter uses the superimposed image principle and is actuated by and coupled to the moving tront panel at the camera. It is attached to the nameplate directly in front at the duect view tinder. A vertical glass rod with tocusing spot tor the two images can be seen when looking through the tinder. Focusing the camera by superimposing the two images so that the outlines exactly coincide insure: sharp tocus. Framing and tocusing are accomplished while lookingthrough the tinder, without moving the eye from one position to another. Belore using the Rolleimeter two simple adjustments are required: I. A o n e t i m e adjustment of the actu- ating lever (screw 0) to suit the local length at the lens employed. 2. Adjustment ot the lever button (screw b) so that the range finder indicates sharp locus at infinity (co) when the camera is in locus at the some distance. This adjustment should be rechecked trom time to time.
